Should schools be free for people that are new to the country?
I agree all kids need an education but if i moved to many other countries, because I’ve paid no tax in that country I would have to pay for the next 3 years education for my kids. Also i would have to prove I’ve got the money to fund that education before i would be allowed to move there.
Also a basic level of the english language before education should start.
In my children’s school there are interpreters employed, partly out of yours and my pockets. This is an additional cost the school does not need, disrupts classrooms (i used to teach) and is not fair on either child.
This is a policy strongly needed in this country and something i would put in place if i was PM but i welcome your views?
